Startup Weekend Twin Cities Alum Hidrate Launches On Kickstarter Today

HidrateMe, a smart water bottle that syncs to your phone to track your water intake and glows to remind you to stay hydrated, is seeking $35k on Kickstarter.

The venture came up through Startup Weekend Twin Cities 6 last September with enough momenum to land in the Sprint/Techstars KC accelerator six months later.

Idea originator and cofounder Nadya Nguyen is quite confident in the outcome of the campaign and subsequent results of using Kickstarter for validation + funding:

“We’ve been heads down during the past 3 months, and the results are already showing – we’re ready to put in our first production order in early July, 2 months earlier than we planned! This Kickstarter is going to give us that final push to do our full blown manufacturing.”
