“MINNEAPOLIS — June 10, 2015 — Twin Cities Startup Week is coming back after its successful launch last year. This year’s event will host double the number of events and individuals interested in participating can now submit an event they would like to host. Twin Cities Startup Week will have presentations, workshops, mentor sessions and other activities at the CoCo coworking space throughout the week of Sept. 8-13, 2015.”
“We had such amazing feedback from last year’s Twin Cities Startup Week that we had to bring it back and make it even better this year,” said Ryan Broshar, co-founder of Twin Cities Startup Week. “This area has blossomed so much in recent years that many locals have coined the Twin Cities as the ‘Startup Capital of the North.’ This event is a celebration of that community.”
The startup community is encouraged to submit events online now. Events can typically range from social events, educational sessions, speaker panels, etc. – anything that can and will support the startup community. Submissions are due by July 15th. To submit an event, visit: http://twincitiesstartupweek.com/submit-event.html/.
Twin Cities Startup Week brings together the best and the brightest from the local startup community. The full schedule with headlining speakers will be announced in August, but it will encompass key events from many of the great local startup organizations, including:
The Minnesota Cup – to encourage and support Minnesota’s most innovative business ideas through the largest annual statewide new venture competition and related programming to assist Minnesota entrepreneurs.
Beta.MN – a gathering of friends & founders in support of Minnesota’s startup community. By throwing meaningful events, in casual settings, for the area’s brightest innovators we ensure that the next big thing happens in our own backyard.
minne* – a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting the Minnesota technology community and promoting high tech entrepreneurship.
TECHdotMN – Minnesota’s tech news creator and curator with an emphasis on the startup culture.
CoCo – a community of entrepreneurs and independents, who come together to work, share ideas and encourage each other’s success
