“Minneapolis, June 23, 2015 – After almost 15 years in the suburbs, LinkUp, the fastest growing job search engine and technology company, will relocate its corporate headquarters this summer to the Warehouse District in Downtown Minneapolis.
LinkUp provides job seekers and employers alike with the purest, most efficient, most relevant and rewarding job search experience imaginable. Currently they index over 3 million jobs directly from 50,000 company websites. The depth and breadth of their index generates robust analytics that provides powerful insights into labor demand throughout the entire economy.”
“We are really excited to be moving downtown. It’s been a phenomenal few years of growth for our business and moving into a new location in the Warehouse District represents a great next chapter for the company,” said Toby Dayton, President and CEO.
The company will lease space on the top floor of the Kickernick Building located at First Avenue and Fifth Street. The space is being designed to support a very collaborative working environment that has an open floor plan with high ceilings, stand up desks, and large windows with views of the downtown Minneapolis skyline. The Sherman Group who owns the building recently started lobby renovations to reclaim the building’s historic brick-and-timber construction.
“I couldn’t be more excited to have another exceptional Minnesota company joining Minneapolis’ vibrant Downtown, welcome LinkUp,” said Mayor Betsy Hodges. “You’ve picked a very dynamic spot to fit your firm’s dynamic culture and if I do say so myself, it’s an excellent match. If the new cool space wasn’t enough, you’re now surrounded by fabulous restaurants and businesses that will no doubt help you attract and retain talent.”
LinkUp anticipates that in addition to attracting and retaining talent, their new headquarters will serve as an opportunity to enhance their collaborative culture. “As we considered what kind of space we wanted, a central location with the right ‘feel’ was key. Our new office space has tons of character and is a fun and open space that will greatly support our culture,” said Dianne Austgen, Chief Financial Officer.
Steve Strom and Ann Hansen at Cresa Minneapolis, a tenant representation firm, represented LinkUp in their search for new office space.
LinkUp is owned and operated by JobDig, an employment focused media, technology, and advertising company that has been serving employers and job seekers since 2001. With LinkUp, the company continues its history of innovation in the industry with completely unique paid search advertising solutions for employers and the highest quality job listings available on the web today for job seekers in addition to labor demand analytics and related products.
