“Ativa Medical Corp., which is creating a system that bundles medical-diagnostics tests on a single computer chip, has closed on more than $23 million in equity funding.
The St. Paul-based company envisions its technology as a solution to pushing lab tests closer to the patient. Health providers would be able to run a variety of blood tests right from the point of care, rather than shipping samples out to a lab. A battery-powered analyzer can handle dozens of blood tests and deliver results in minutes.”
