Minnesota’s Concrete Software Lands A Big Catch With Rapala Fishing App

No, this isn’t the lead in to a bad joke…the answer is Minnesota!

Local game development studio Concrete Software has partnered with international fishing supply powerhouse Rapala to bring the Rapala Fishing – Daily Catch app, launching today on Android and iOS

Simple enough for the casual gamer to play, it brings the excitement of landing that big catch right to your mobile device. Featuring 5 different lakes, including Minnesota’s own Lake Minnetonka and Rainy Lake, the gameplay is focused on tournaments. Players can compete in daily fishing tournaments against friends and others around the world and show off their best catch with EveryPlay.

This isn’t the first time that Concrete Software has partnered with a well known sports brand. Last year’s NHL Hockey Target Smash was well received. Later this year, Concrete will also be releasing another game made in partnership with a company you may also recognize. Arctic Cat Extreme Racing is currently open for beta testing and is expected for release in early March.

Concrete Software’s CEO, Keith Pichelman, couldn’t be happier about the recent partnerships.

“We are really excited to work with two first rate companies that have a local presence here in Minnesota.  We’ve had great success working with the PBA and NHL in the past and really think Rapala and Arctic Cat are a great fit for us to partner with.”
