Zivix’s AirJamz Kickstarter campaign is rocking along and passed their $30k minimum threshold this weekend.
AirJamz launched on Kickstarter April 12 and has since since recieved support from 478 backers who have pledged a combined ~$32k with 15 days still remaining.
AirJamz is an IoT entertainment product that pairs a wrist apparatus with mobile apps to “turn movements into music.”
Backers are paying $35-$39 to pre-order at a 30-40% discount of what the setup is expected to eventually retail for.
This isn’t the company’s first crowdfunding rodeo; this time last year, they closed on 813k for portable MIDI guitar Jamstik+, which remains the second largest Minnesota tech crowdfunding campaign after SmartThings $1.2m in 2012.
