It is important we recognize those who financially sponsor TECHdotMN because their direct contribution advances Minnesota’s technology industry.
Thank you Leadpages for reinvesting!
What does Leadpages do?
At Leadpages, we create elegant software that helps businesses grow by collecting more leads and driving more sales via landing pages, websites, social media, email, and text messaging. We believe compelling online marketing doesn’t need to be time-consuming. In fact, anyone can use Leadpages to create and deploy landing pages in minutes without touching a line of code.
We recently acquired email marketing automation platform Drip after being impressed by their first-class visual campaign builder, sophisticated automation capabilities, and enthusiastic customer base. Currently, we’re working to continue the rapid rollout of features and integrations Drip customers have come to expect while adding capacity to the team.
Our team supports and celebrates independent entrepreneurs and large enterprises alike—anyone who values the ability to launch and scale new marketing ideas almost instantly. We get the opportunity to connect with many of those marketers at our annual conference, Converted, which draws people from around the world to share and discover the best ways to increase conversions at every step of the customer journey.
When/why/how did Leadpages start?
Clay Collins and Tracy Simmons officially founded Leadpages in January 2013 after Clay discovered a huge demand for the landing-page templates he’d begun creating and releasing via his popular marketing blog. Today, Leadpages and Drip serve more than 45,000 customers. Although our team boasts members around the world, most of our 100+ employees work from Leadpages headquarters: a beautiful loft space in the Warehouse District of downtown Minneapolis. (That said, the space is a little empty on Mondays and Thursdays—we’re encouraged to work from home two days a week.)
What is unique about Leadpages?
The 45,000 people who use Leadpages and Drip aren’t just our customers—they’re our community, and we love to find opportunities to consult with and learn from them in person. To serve our highly engaged following of entrepreneurs and marketers, we’re gearing up for our second annual Converted conference in Minneapolis on October 18–19. Attendees can expect business-transforming presentations from some of the biggest names and brightest minds in digital marketing and conversion.
