Kidizen Furthers Investment & Tops 250k Users


46ab0309290f31d0da6618e5ef17Minneapolis startup Kidizen has raised $435k in net new financing, according to this SEC disclosure.

CEO Dug Nichols describes the transaction as a bridge round sourced from existing investors.



Kidizen is a mobile marketplace to buy and sell used kids clothing and accessories.

The venture has experienced a steady growth climb of activity since introduction by cofounders Dori Graff & Mary Fallon in 2013.

Nichols says that they have now acquired over 250,000 registered users and have grossed over $5m in sales on the platform. With ~$1.9m in outside funding to date, backers include Machstick Ventures, Gopher Angels, Sofia Fund, Ryan Weber, and Daren Cotter.
