“Data-storage company Seagate Technology Inc. has cut 155 jobs at its Shakopee facility. The December layoffs were part of a broader workforce reduction Seagate announced over the summer, a spokeswoman said. The Cupertino, Calif.-based company announced in July it would eliminate 6,500 jobs, or 14 percent of its workforce, as part of a restructuring. Those cuts came on top of a roughly 3 percent workforce reduction in June.”
