SportsHub Technologies Moves Out Of The Pitch and Into T3 Building

Growing venture SportsHub Technologies has relocated from The Pitch coworking space and into the T3 Building of Minneapolis’ North Loop at 323 Washington Avenue

Founder & CEO Rob Phythian says they moved into their new 2,400 square ft. space on the third floor two days ago since they had just outgrown the coworking environment.

They currently employ 24 people in Minneapolis with room for 10 more and an option to expand further within T3, Phythian adds.

SportsHub Technologies is the parent company of multiple different sportstech companies scattered across the United States and headquartered here in Minneapolis.  Founded in 2015 by a team of veteran fantasy sports insiders including Phythian, who is a Fantasy Sports Hall of Famer, the holding co. has acquired four different companies that operate independently, including Paul Charchian’s LeagueSafe last fall.

Phythian’s previous venture, SportsData, sold to SportRadar for an undisclosed amount in 2013.

SportsHub also counts 15 people in Connecticut, 5 in St. Louis, and 2 in Wisconsin — combined with the 24 here that equates to roughly 45 employees overall.

“It’s an absolute joy coming into our own office and I think this is going to be the hottest spot in Minneapolis over the coming years.”

Earlier this year, Amazon became a major tech tenant at the newly renovated and much hyped T3 building, signing a lease for reportedly 100,000 sq. ft. across multiple floors. Zipnosis also holds office at T3 now, while national coworking venue Industrious plans a 34,000 sq. ft. second Minneapolis location there later this fall.
