Emergent Networks Acquired By NYC-Based Presidio

Via News Release

“MINNEAPOLIS – September 11, 2017 – Emergent Networks, a trusted information technology (IT) adviser to enterprise organizations across Minnesota has been acquired by Presidio, a leading U.S.-based IT solutions provider. Emergent Networks has been a privately held, family-owned IT services, solutions and support provider based in Minneapolis for more than 30 years.”

The combined company will deliver core offerings to customers such as design, integration and optimization of data center and cloud, infrastructure, network security, unified communications, and enterprise networking solutions to customers in the Midwestern U.S. Those customers represent a broad variety of segments and industries including retail, financial services, health care and utilities.

“The opportunity to become part of a larger IT strategy and solutions brand was appealing for a number of reasons,” said Jamie Anderson, Emergent Networks. “It allows us to expand our reach beyond Minnesota and tap into the resources of a national organization. Beyond that, it allows our employees to collaborate with other experts providing IT services and creates opportunities for career advancement on a national level.”

Emergent Networks will operate as “Emergent Networks, a Presidio Company,” transitioning to the Presidio brand in the next 60 days.
