Digi-Key To Add 1,000 Jobs Over Decade As Part Of Welfare Package

Digi-Key Electronics, the electronic-components distributor, broke ground late last week on a $200 million expansion project at its Thief River Falls, Minn., headquarters campus that it says will add “at least” 1,000 new jobs within a decade.”

    The amount of tax revenue the state will get from those 1000 new jobs and existing 3000+ jobs will make the “welfare” look like peanuts. The bigger picture here is a win for MN. The headline diminishes the positive impact of the “welfare” and ignores the disastrous impact losing DK to ND would have on MN.
