Pharma Tech Firm ExceleraRx Raises $2.5m


Minneapolis pharmaceutical technology firm ExceleraRx has recently raised $2.5m of a $5.1m equity round per SEC disclosure.

Excelera, for short, manages a virtual network of integrated delivery and academic medical centers, which “helps members assert control over complex patient outcomes and total cost of care by facilitating comprehensive, integrated specialty pharmacy capabilities with localized medication dispensing.”

“ExceleraRx supports its members by using its sophisticated data management, reporting and analytical capabilities; facilitates payer contracting; secures access to limited distribution specialty pharmaceuticals; and provides clinical care protocols and best practices.”

ExceleraRx previously raised a small round of $300k equity back in 2011 and presently counts 13 employees according to LinkedIn.
