[Updated] Minnesota 3d Printing Startup Chromatic 3D Materials Raises $200k

Original 11/14/2017: Minnesota 3d printing startup Chromatic 3D Materials is raising $200k with $100k closed upon, per SEC disclosure.

Formed in 2016 by founder & CEO Cora Leibig, the pre-revenue startup is developing the technology to print with thermosets — a broad class of materials including polyurethanes, silicones and epoxies. In pursuit of that, the venture received a $225k SBIR grant last August.

Chromatic 3d Materials earned semifinalist status in the Minnesota Cup earlier this year and can be seen below at last month’s Women’s Pitch Fest:
