Categories

Washington, DC-based tech investment firm Revolution has recruited former Google for Entrepreneurs Director Mary Grove as new partner to be planted in Minnesota.

That’s according to a medium post penned,  in which she describes a pending move to Minnesota as a return to her Midwest roots.  Revolution boasts a $150m seed fund focused outside the coasts, often branded as a “Rise of the Rest”; readers may recall their previous related investments in local startups 75F, Kidizen, and Docalytics (sold to Contently in 2016).

Mary Grove is married to Steve Grove who was born in Northfield, Minnesota, and is currently a Director at Google News Lab.

The couple are known for their local civic engagement surrounding teens and tech via Silicon North Stars, a nonprofit they formed in 2014.
