Minnesota machine learning technology startup Boon Logic has secured $1m of what appears to be a $2m debt round, per SEC disclosure.

Formed in 2014, Boon Logic is a technology company focused on the field of machine learning, as the website vaguely explains:

“Implementing a memory-driven approach to clustering and recognition applications, Boon is shaking up the traditional paradigm of computationally intensive learning algorithms. The core technology has been benchmarked in several application areas and is delivering 1,000x the performance compare to alternative methodologies. On a single CPU core, we are delivering unsupervised and supervised learning, as well as anomaly detection for patterns at 30 microseconds/vector.”

According to the filing and LinkedIn, there are about seven individuals affiliated with this firm right now. More as it’s known…
