Plymouth Startup Novidan Is Raising $1m For Hearing Tech

A new Plymouth-based startup called Novidan is raising $1m of equity capital with $300k closed on per SEC disclosure.

Formed this year, the company operates at the intersection of technology and hearing, “founded on the principle that hearing is essential to life.” From the website:

“We are an OEM/ODM that specializes in hearing related hardware, software, mobile apps, and wireless systems. Consider us your external R&D team for hearing devices and accessories. With decades of hearing aid product development and manufacturing experience, we deliver high quality hearing products and accessories, intended for the rapidly growing direct-to-consumer industry.”

Founders Brian Dobson and Pete Salmi both bring years of relevant industry experience to the table based on their time at Clearity as well as local behemoth Starkey.
