Weekly Events Roundup – December 2

TECHdotMN EventsAnother week is upon us, and that means there are new tech events to attend!
Looking at the calendar this week, we found a few you should know about…

Thursday, December 5th, Cloud Native and Kubernetes Minneapolis is hosting the KubeCon 2019 review and happy hour at the Microsoft offices in Edina. KubeCon 2019 just wrapped up in San Diego, so the crew invites you to spend the evening reviewing significant announcements and trends emerging from the event.

That same evening, General Assembly, a newcomer to the North Loop of Minneapolis, is hosting “Hustle + Hang.” Side hustling is all about the hustle, and you shouldn’t have to do that alone. If you have a question, problem, or hiccup, someone else probably has too! Join us to connect with folks hustling just like you are.

Saturday, December 7th, there’s an event for the youngsters in your life. CoderDojo Twin Cities is hosting an event at Minneapolis College from 1:30-3:30pm. This event welcomes all interested kids ages 8 to 17 and will work proactively to eliminate gender and socioeconomic barriers to computer science by providing a no-cost way for young people to experience programming early—and have fun doing it!

Next Monday, December 9th, MinneAnalytics will host FastCon: The Food, Ag, + Supply Chain in Tech Conference. This free, all day event will explore the lastest topics in these industries with over 40 speakers, and will be held at the Science Museum of Minnesota. Registration is open now.

If you know of any events that just should not be missed, please take a moment to add them to our weekly calendar.

Have a great week!
