We at Minnestar are excited to announce Minnedemo: Back to Campus, an annual tech showcase highlighting the talent of students and recent graduates in the MN tech community.

The last two years have seen incredible lineups including an innovative wheelchair for quadriplegic patients, a hall pass platform now being used in more than 30 states, and an Arduino powered water heating system (learn more about them here and here).

Since 2006 Minnestar has existed to serve and grow a thriving technology community for all in Minnesota. We have done this through our popular signature events (such as MinnedemoMinneAMA and Minnebar), and work to promote the talent, knowledge and innovation happening in our community.

As we think about the health of our community, we always want to be intentional about welcoming, including, and supporting new technologists. We have a tremendous amount of talent coming our of our colleges, universities and bootcamp programs – it’s time we  support, celebrate and showcase it in a big way.

The event will follow the Minnedemo format (more info below) in a virtual format due to COVID-19.  This will be the can’t-miss event for students entering the tech community – all current students or recent graduates from any school or bootcamp program are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Huge thank you to our sponsors, community supporters, and volunteers making this event possible. We hope everyone will come out and support and celebrate the #MNtech community’s newest talent.
