BETA Announces Lineup for Spring 2021 Cohort

What to know about the new Spring 2021 BETA Cohort:

  • 14 companies were chosen to participate in BETA’s free, non-dilutive, five-month program which will run from March 10 through August 6
  • Participants will engage in training in topics such as preparing for growth stages, securing the first wave of customers, raising investments, marketing, and more
  • This is BETA’s third virtual Cohort
  • To date, BETA’s Cohort program includes 162 alumni and has raised $358 million

Black Tech Talent aims to increase the representation of Black technologists in both corporate careers and entrepreneurship by curating a pipeline of job opportunities, education, community and culturally specific content.

Fairway Play create sports related games that generate new revenue sources for customers. The company’s first game, Anamules™, is a mobile app for golf. With a B2B model versus a traditional B2C model, the company aims to deliver increased revenue to golf courses by incentivizing golfers to spend more via rewards from the course and the rules of the game.

The LegalQ app enables consumers with legal needs to prepay for 15 or 30-minute consultations with a licensed attorney in their state.

MindVue is a VR wellness company aimed at making the largest positive impact on senior lives.
