Minneapolis, Minn. (June 28, 2021) – Nexben, an end-to-end cloud-based platform connecting all aspects of the benefits industry, continues to expand its Minneapolis-based team and has hired Scib Ebel as its Chief Technology Officer.

Ebel will be instrumental in creating Nexben’s technological vision and implementing the appropriate technology strategies to support Nexben’s growing business. Over the past few years, Nexben has been adding veteran healthcare-industry professionals, technology experts, marketing executives and more to continue to build and deliver a transformative technology platform.

“Our steady growth of clients continues to necessitate our internal growth, and we couldn’t be more pleased to have Scib join our team,” said Nexben CEO, John Kelly. “Together, we are transforming the benefits industry and changing the way carriers, insurance brokers and their customers interact together.”

Ebel is no stranger to the healthcare or startup industries. He was previously the CTO/SVP Technology/CISO at Icario (formerly Revel Health), where he played a key role in the company’s growth through organic business development and mergers. Prior to this, he held leadership positions at Optum and Cigna.

“I’ve spent my entire career developing teams, directing technology strategies and devoting myself to the healthcare industry,” said Ebel. “I’m honored to join Nexben and continue its goal of revolutionizing the fragmented, complex benefits industry.”
