BETA Release Twin Cities Startup Week 2021 Recap

With Twin Cities Startup Week 2021 firmly in the books, the BETA team has compiled all the data from the event into a full recap.

A few notable statistics:

  • Nearly 90 percent of panels included women
  • More than 70 percent of panels included a member of the BIPOC community

Even with those laudable improvements — in addition to the inclusion of local artists, vendors, musicians, and more this year — there’s of course still more to work on. Kelly Schultze, Interim Executive Director of BETA and TCSW, pointed to the pandemic putting a squeeze on timing, resources, and money.

“Our team has already identified and began executing changes that will improve the festival for all event attendees and speakers,” Schultze said in the recap. “Lots of big stuff is in the works, and our team is excited to announce more about TCSW structural and content creation changes.”

Take a look at the breakdown of Twin Cities Startup Week 2021 statistics, and then head over to the full recap to read more about the takeaways from the event.
