SureSwift Capital Acquires MeetEdgar

SureSwift Capital has gone social. In a blog post by the company’s Head of Acquisitions, Chris Reedy, the venture capital firm announced it has acquired social media automation platform MeetEdgar. Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.

MeetEdgar was founded by Laura Roeder and her husband Chris Williams in 2014 as an entrepreneurial-focused social media platform designed to take advantage of evergreen content to keep a social feed moving even if new content was dry. According to the announcement, the co-founders will be transitioning out of the business.

MeetEdgar is SureSwift’s second acquisition of 2022, having announced the acquisition of Shopify-based Simple Purchase Orders on January 10.

Editor’s Note: Before being acquired by BETA, SureSwift Capital owned tech.mn.
