Inspectorio Announces $50 Million Series B

Well, this should certainly help support that new data-tracking product. Inspectorio, the cloud-based, AI-powered risk management company for suppliers, has secured a $50 million Series B funding round led by Insight Partners. Other participants in the round include Techstars, Flexport, Ecolab and Matchstick Ventures. Insight Partners Vice President Nicole Shimer will join Inspectorio’s board.

“Inspectorio is invested in creating end-to-end visibility and insights into the production chain and improving traceability through a one-of-a-kind holistic view into quality, sustainability and production tracking. We’re thrilled to be working with Insight Partners as we continue to grow,” Inspectorio CEO Carlos Moncayo said in a release. “By raising and expanding our investments in current and future products, we will expand product capabilities to go further upstream in the production chain. This will result in an increased focus on production tracking and supply chain traceability, which is a critical need for the modern supply chain industry.”

Inspectorio provides a suite of management software including quality management, compliance management, and production tracking software that leverages machine learning to, “transition from reactive interventions to a proactive, preventative approach to supply chain management.” The company’s Series B marks the latest major round of funding after a Series A in 2018. The company also recently joined Apple’s Impact Accelerator Cohort.
