Babbl Announces Stock Market News Site, Newsletter

The fintech startup's new site and newsletter launches with free access.

Babbl, a financial technology startup, is proud to announce the launch of its free stock market news monitoring website and accompanying daily newsletter. As one of the first services of its kind, Babbl aims to revolutionize the way retail investors access and consume financial news through the use of AI-based natural language monitoring technology.

As part of its beta release, Babbl’s website and newsletter will be free to access, offering a preview of the range of news monitoring features and tools that will be available as the full platform launches incrementally over the next 12 months. The free website features a groundbreaking set of tools to help retail investors take control of their information diet and make more informed decisions about their investments, including: real-time news sentiment tracking, breaking news alerts, and personalizable news filtering.

Upcoming features of the website over the coming months will include: news event detection, financial topic modeling, question-answering tools (built on OpenAI and Cohere language models), and more advanced analysis options for tracking news information against changes in stock prices.

In addition, Babbl’s daily newsletter delivers a curated selection of the most important market news and insights straight to readers' inboxes each morning. The newsletter will also include personalization options that allow readers to choose the topics that matter most to them, interactive elements such as polls and quizzes, and exclusive discounts and promotions from partners.

“We believe that everyone should have access to top-quality financial information, regardless of their level of expertise or financial resources. We also believe that folks shouldn’t have to spend hours each week scrolling through ad-ridden, clickbaity news sites to find actionable information,” said Ramsey Shaffer, CEO of Babbl. “With the launch of our free website and daily newsletter, we’re excited to provide individual investors with the tools and insights they need to make more informed investment decisions, without all the legwork of searching for qualified news sources.”

Sam Cartford, Babbl CTO, added, “A major problem for many people today is an overabundance of time spent on screen — this is especially true for investors whose job it is to follow market news trends. Automated news monitoring services are a solution that has long been available for institutions and large investment firms, but such tools have never really been accessible to the individual retail investors who need them most. Our goal is to make it easy and affordable for anyone to track the sentiment and detect events for the stocks they care about, and remove the need for individual investors to constantly monitor news sites out of fear of missing important information.”
