Minneapolis, MN – The Beta Group (BETA) today announces its biannual event, the BETA Showcase, presented with J.P. Morgan. BETA Showcase is the nonprofit organization’s flagship event that highlights the innovations of Minnesota-based technology startups. BETA Showcase Spring 2023 will feature the companies selected to participate in the previously announced BETA Cohort Spring 2023 and is scheduled to take place on April 13, 2023 from 5 to 9 PM at Urban Daisy in Minneapolis.

BETA Showcase gathers the latest companies of the BETA Cohort in a “science fair for startups” setting. Each company receives a space to showcase their specific brand of Minnesota innovation to a crowd of startup and technology enthusiasts, reporters, supporters, investors. The event provides the opportunity for the founders to engage the public in a direct and personal way, receiving instant feedback and validation.

Participating companies compete for the Golden iPod Trophy, which is awarded at the end of the event. The trophy, a BETA Showcase mainstay for nine years, is awarded to the crowd favorite startup on the basis of attendee vote. Previous winners include stock market-tracking company Babbl, on-demand courier service Trunkdrop, and on-demand legal service app TurnSignl.
BETA Showcase Spring 2023 features the BETA Cohort Spring 2023 companies including: Ambient Intelligence, Atticus Capital, Davenport SAF-T Systems, Explained, GoNo Food Finder, Hinckley Medical, Insight Autonomy, JAS Monitoring, Levelrie, MeDecibel, Oppify, opsi, POSTAL, SELA, Sentinel Health Analytics, Inc., Solar Informatics, SonnyLife, StoryForge, Tablmakr, and XanthosHealth.
