Black Owned Startup Secures $500k, Will Use Funds To Empower Minnesota Creators

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - Packed House Live, has announced the successful closure of a $500k investment round, which puts the company halfway to their goal of $1M. The Minneapolis-based streaming startup aims to build a movement focused on empowering creators through digital courses and exclusive streaming technology helping them earn 100x more money from streaming than the traditional platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal & Youtube.

The investment round was led by angel investor Reuben Moore from OmniBorn LLC, and will be used to expand the company's reach globally, develop technology, hire key team members, and launch PHL University, a platform that will provide education and resources to creators.

Ricky Collins, CEO of Packed House Live said, "I'm taking all of the concepts I learned from my experience being a creator, working with creators for 15 years, and my time with Floyd Mayweather watching him use the pay per view model to rake in $600M in 1 fight to empower creators to turn their views into a product they can own & sell direct to their biggest supporters."

The company's ultimate goal is to help creators take control of their art and achieve financial independence. By providing a platform that enables creators to sell their content directly to their supporters, Packed House Live is helping to shift creators of all industries towards independence and ownership.
