Kipsu, the Minneapolis-based software company specializing in real-time engagement in the hospitality sector, has announced its status as a preferred vendor for IHG® Hotels & Resorts. Kipsu’s customer engagement platform will be used by IHG Hotels & Resorts across its entire portfolio of more than 6,000 hotels in more than 100 countries around the globe (IHG’s Kimpton brand has partnered with Kipsu since 2015).
“We see a great opportunity to support IHG hotels in their guest satisfaction goals as well as fueling team efficiencies,” Kipsu SVP and General Manager Tom McGurran said in a release. “We’re looking forward to bringing the success that our Kimpton partners — and dozens of other hotels across the portfolio — have experienced, to IHG’s entire family of hotels.”
Kipsu’s platform allows hotel guests to communicate with staff through texting, chat, or social media. The company was founded by Christopher Smith in 2010 and took home the Voyageur Award at the 2019 Minnesota Startup Awards.
