Which MN Tech Companies Made The 2017 Inc. 500 | 5000

Inc. the magazine “written for the people who run growing companies” released today their annual ranking list of the country’s top 5,000 fastest-growing private companies with an emphasis on the top 10 percent of the list — the ‘Inc. 500.’

Overall, 86 Minnesota headquartered companies earned their place on this years list based on self-reported revenue gains over a three year period; we’ve identified 38 as tech in nature — either product or service model.

Last year there were approximately 41 tech companies, while 2015 saw 48 and 2014 was 39.

Leadpages is Minnesota’s highest ranking tech company with $21.1 m 2016 revenue and 1,477% 3 year growth, coming it at #297 (down from 148 in 2016).   Rochester app development/managed services firm Trbhi reached second place for Minnesota tech at number 466 on the list, while Blaine-based JP Ecommerce reached third with 835% 3 year growth and $3.6m revenue last year.
