Let’s not mince words — finding parking can be a huge pain in the ass. Jack Lefebvre seems to have felt some of the that pain, too. Why else would he have co-founded ParkPoolr, a new app that allows various property owners to monetize their extra parking spaces by renting them to the public?
This is A Workday With Jackson Lefebvre, CEO and co-founder of ParkPoolr.
I am a currently a senior undergraduate student at the Carlson School of Management majoring in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management. I am also the founder of ParkPoolr, a platform that enables property owners like small businesses, hotels, churches, and houses to easily monetize extra parking spaces by renting them out to the public. When I am not finishing up my classes or working on my start-up, you can find me playing tennis, pick-up basketball, or getting into way too detailed of conversations with my friends about the Minnesota Vikings roster.

A bowl of Cheerios with milk.
Check emails and respond back to interested property owners/managers.
My primary workspace is a desk in my room and a MacBook Air laptop. I try to keep my desk pretty clean. However, my desktop on my laptop is another story 🙂
What’s the most interesting/fun/meaningful thing on your desk?
There’s nothing super meaningful on my desk. On the wall that faces my desk, I have a map of the world with tacks placed on every city I have visited.
My laptop and phone.
I need to send out emails and set up Zoom meetings with potential ParkPoolr hosts (church property managers, small business owners, etc.).
Bob Dylan, The Goo Goo Dolls, and Kanye.

“6 Underground.” 0 out of 5.

Cats.
There is always something to do (great parks, sports games, events, concerts, etc.).
I try to work out in the morning before I shower. This usually gives me energy that lasts throughout the day.
Hubspot with Gmail integration is very helpful.
The biggest challenge has probably been the postponement of sporting events and the impact it has had on ParkPoolr. We were set to relaunch our new app and platform at Minnesota United Soccer games this spring until the season was postponed indefinitely due to COVID 19. This has led me to pivot ParkPoolr away from an event parking focus to a hourly parking focus. I have now been trying to create a sales pipeline of small businesses, hotels, churches, and houses with extra parking spaces in areas where parking is in high demand.
It’s important to set goals and stay accountable. I have found the more I share specifically what I am doing with mentors, roommates, parents, etc., the more I hold myself accountable.
Usually it’s scouting out potential new parking areas on Google Maps.
I like to hangout with my roommates, watch a movie, or play the video game FIFA.
Midnight.
