Meet the 14 Companies of the Fall 2021 BETA Cohort

What to know about the latest BETA cohort:

  • BETA has announced its newest cohort featuring 14 startups from a range of industries
  • Participants in the free, five-month, non-dilutive accelerator will receive individualized coaching, input from community experts, and access to a network of fellow founders
  • This will be BETA’s fourth virtual cohort

DXD Ag Insights provides data products and services to help agronomists process and analyze their field observations and other agricultural data into the useful information and insights that their customers value. They’re developing software that applies data science, visualization, and machine learning methods to speed and improve their process for learning from their observations and communicating information and insights.

SIID™ Technologies applies big data and emerging technologies to evaluate, uncover, and correct the influence of unconscious human biases on decision-making and communication.

 

Neal Wozniak

Euverita was founded by veterans of the healthcare industry to offer patients a better way to get access to medical diagnostics. They are a tech-enabled mobile medical testing and diagnostics provider that brings the lab literally to the patient’s doorstep, filling a critical gap with the current system of telemedicine.

 

Davis Clark

Futuremodel is an interactive web app that instantly generates an end-to-end data pipeline, from extraction to transformation, exploration, and collaboration. It lets a group of people sketch their business, connect to any source of data, and traverse their graph of data through an immersive, visualization-rich interface.

 

Sarah Brown

Gatherwell provides mobile, onsite, and drive-thru Lab and Healthcare Services. Their model of care is determined to bring increased value and convenience to individuals. They embrace and respect patient engagement and transparency to disrupt the status quo of health insurance and convenient care options.

 

Thomas Kosgei

IntelligentRx is a healthcare savings innovation company with a mission to increase access to affordable prescription medications to everyone. Their platform provides a prescription pricing comparison tool with free coupons that can be used to save up to 85% of the retail price on medications at more than 80,000 pharmacies in the US.

 

Xiaofan Mai, Yingshu Zhou

IntelliU combines MedTech design expertise and AI capabilities to help MedTech companies reduce product risks and expedite commercialization in a cost effective way. They offer an AI-driven platform that fills the unmet needs of automated design inputs analysis and design stories writing to hugely reduce human errors and design time as well as providing digital evidence reporting for FDA inquiries.

 

Quyen Balter, Eugene Medynskiy

Peach Mindfulness’ purpose is to make mindfulness simple and easily accessible to everyone. It is geared to developing a consistent and sustainable practice to support one’s mental wellbeing. Peach Mindfulness uses an artificial intelligence-powered, conversational technology platform that brings meditation and mindfulness practices to consumers and businesses.

Mark Osuna Senn, Pablo Alguindigue

Scopa Analytics created a tagging platform that enables users/groups to link to multiple URLs from a single image or piece of content via product tags. Focusing on online brands and content creators, they bring the benefits of product tagging to websites. The product tags shorten the customer journey, bringing in more detailed product-specific analytics and increasing revenue.

Shrpa.com is the community engagement platform that makes it fun and easy to share and discover adventures in your community. They partner with visitor bureaus and hotels to feature businesses and attractions, allowing travelers to explore “like a local.” Simplifying marketing efforts and delivering more engaging content that inspires more travelers!

 

Pejman Ghorbanzade

Touca helps engineering teams understand the true impact of code changes on the behavior and performance of their software. Their product significantly reduces the risks of changing code in mission-critical systems. They want to make maintaining software 10x more efficient by reducing the feedback cycle between the time software engineers make a code change and the time they gain confidence that it works the way they intended.

 

Jazz Hampton, Andre Creighton, Mychal Frelix, Mike Nathan

TurnSignl is a Minnesota-based tech company that provides real-time, on-demand legal guidance from attorneys to drivers, all while their camera records the interaction. Their mission is to provide a technology-based solution to protect drivers’ civil rights, de-escalate roadside interactions, and ensure both civilians and police officers return home safely at the end of the day.

 

Katie Shahan

Yarlow provides homeowners with a “user guide” on how to take care of their home. Users get alerts about maintenance due (i.e. change furnace filter, fertilize lawn, add salt to water softener, etc) as well as can keep track of receipts for maintenance, upgrades and warranty information.

YoYoBoat is the first boat rental marketplace designed specifically to connect owners of boats under 26-feet with verified renters.
