Grid Catalyst Announces New Incubator Partners, Applications Due Soon

Applications for the incubator are due January 31.

Minnesota clean energy accelerator Grid Catalyst today announced the new partners in its Innovators Network – CenterPoint EnergyCumminsMortensonSt. Thomas Center for Microgrid Research, and Xcel Energy

The new partners join the 2022 partners consisting of Fortune 500 companies, cities, and public institutions in support of a new incubator program, selected by the Department Of Energy Office (DOE) Of Technology Transitions as a semifinalists for the Energy Program For Innovation Clusters (EPIC).

The PowerNorth Incubator leverages the incredible ecosystem of energy, cleantech, and sustainability-committed companies in Minnesota whose expertise and market leadership can be game changing for innovators and startups. 

Selected startups will receive pitch coaching and training, have the opportunity to pitch to the regional experts in the Innovators Network, and compete for a spot in the virtual 6-week incubator. At the end of the program, startups will have a second opportunity to pitch – this time in Minnesota at our PowerNorth Showcase, sharing what they have learned and what big moves are next for their business.
